Manchester Memorial – 22nd May 2:00 – 3:00 pm

On the afternoon of the 22nd of May, there will be a  Civic Memorial Service taking place at Manchester Cathedral to commemorate one year since the Manchester terror attack.The service at Manchester Cathedral will be attended by a congregation including the families of those who lost their lives, those injured, first responders, civic leaders and senior national figures.

Together with Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral and York Minster, as our small part in supporting those involved in the Manchester Arena tragedy, Glasgow Cathedral is offering a public screening of the Memorial Service  This screening will be held in the Choir and is open to anyone who wishes to be part of the service but is unable to travel to Manchester.  Although all are welcome, please be aware that seating in the Choir is limited, and if you have a direct connection or involvement of the events of that night, and would like a reserved seat, please use our contact form to let us know.

The best parking for Glasgow Cathredral is the Pay-and-Display lot immediately behind Provand’s Lordship. Entrance is via Collins Street off Cathedral Street or via Rottenrow off the High Street. Alternatively there is the Cathedral Precinct Parking Lot 2, entrance off Cathedral Street.
