A Morning Service for the 4th of September

The hymns this morning include Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, the King of creation and Stand up! stand up for Jesus

The service opens the service with the voluntary Folk Tune by Percy Whitlock. We then welcome our Choir back who will sing the introit Thou knowest, Lord, the secrets of our hearts by Henry Purcell (1659–1695). Today’s anthem is A Gaelic Blessing by Paisley Abbey’s Director of Music, George McPhee (b.1937).
