Welcome to the Morning Service from Glasgow Cathedral for Sunday the 14th of March. We hope you enjoy worshiping with us this morning.
We are pleased to welcome The University of Glasgow to our service. There will be contributions from Professor Sir Kenneth Calman, who’s been a part of the Cathedral Family for a number of years, Principal Anton Muscatelli, Clerk to the Senate Professor Jill Morrison and the new University Chaplain Rev Dr Carolyn Kelly.
We are also pleased that the University of Glasgow Chapel Choir have joined with the Cathedral Choir to record some of this morning’s music. The hymns this morning include Just as I am without one plea and There is a green hill far away. Today’s anthem is God so loved the world by Stainer and the service begins with the introit Oculi omnium by Wood .
Following this service there is an opportunity to come together with other members of our virtual congregation. We would be pleased to welcome visitors from the University. If you would care to join with us please fill in this form and we will email you with the link to the zoom get-together. The one condition is that we have a limit of 100 so if you are not in time this week, please try again.
If you wish to contribute your offering directly to the Cathedral please use this button for more information. It will open a new page, so you can continue to listen to the service if it has begun.
