A Morning Service for the 17th of April – Easter Sunday

Today’s setting of the Mass Ordinary is taken from the Messe Salve Regina, by Yves Castagnet (b.1964)

As with all services of Holy Communion, our table is open to all. No matter where you are in the world please join with us in the celebration. To prepare all you require is an open Christian heart, a little bread and a sip of wine or other symbolic drink of you prefer. You are with all of us in Christ.

The service begins with Sarabande for the Morning of Easter – Herbert Howells (1892–1983). The hymns this morning include Jesus Christ is risen today and Thine be the glory. The service opens the service with the voluntary . The anthem today is Domine Deus, Rex cælestis and the offertory is Sanctus & Benedictus. During the distribution of the Elements of Holy Communion the choir will sing the Agnus Dei

This morning  the choir organ is played by William Briant, and the grand organ by James Norrey.
