Services to be streamed while closed to all visitors

As of 3:30 this afternoon, 18th March, Historic Environment Scotland will close the Cathedral to all visitors. We will prepare and broadcast, here on the Cathedral Website, Sunday Worship with the Choir for as long as it is deemed safe. Normal public worship has also been suspended for the duration of the Covid-19 outbreak and until such time as Health Scotland advises us it is ok to re-open.

The Cathedral’s “Annual Stated Meeting” scheduled for Sunday has also been postponed indefinitely. There will be no Spring Communion service, Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, nor Easter Sunday services. We will prepare and broadcast, here on the Cathedral Website, Sunday Worship with the Choir for as long as it is deemed safe.

With respect to any special services in our calendar, consider them to be cancelled or postponed. We will post specifics as we know more. Above all please take advice from NHS Scotland and stay safe and healthy. With God’s help we will come through this time of trouble and be a stronger and closer community in the end.
